We
make up the games we play. We can make up games that are
competitive; we can also make up games that are mutually
supportive.
The game we are now playing is one of mutual support.
You ask a question; I support you, as best I can, with an
answer. This is a game we both created and agreed to play
together.
Many of the games that are set up as competitive can also
be played in mutual support. For example: I coach owners of
businesses who are ready to see their businesses as places
to have fun. The process is reclaiming the power they have
hidden in the beliefs that business must be competitive and
adversarial.
There is no power outside of us. However, we have used
this power to make it seem otherwise. This is a fun game
that doesn't seem like fun until we reclaim enough power to
appreciate what is really going on. I wrote THE JOURNEY to
support those who are ready to take this next step toward
reclaiming their power.
