[THE GIFT]

Question:

I was wondering if you could talk about a paragraph from THE JOURNEY. You say that when you remember that the bread is already yours - - you offer a gift. To whom do you offer the gift? Thanks again for THE JOURNEY, I love the book.

Answer:

Part I: The concept that all that you see is you, otherwise referred to as The Oneness, requires the willingness to open your Self really wide. There is nothing outside of each of us. Whatever seems that it is, is given the illusion of separateness by the Power of The God Presence that you are.

One of the attributes of The God Presence is the freedom to explore the infinite recesses of the Universe. Having chosen the human experience, you are now exploring life on planet earth.

With the concept of Oneness in mind, you can see that you are offering the gift to your Self in the guise of the person offering you the bread.

Part II: There is another aspect of the gift you are giving to your Self. You are giving the gift out of the deep appreciation you feel for your Self. All parts of this extraordinary journey we call the human experience are created by us using all of the ingenuity, creativity, inspiration and power of The God Presence.

We have spent the first phase of the journey hiding the truth of who we really are. In the second phase that you have chosen to enter, your role is to keep reminding yourself who you really are.

You spent many years hiding your Self from you. Now is the time to not only declare the truth, but to appreciate the truth.
